You can only upload photos smaller than 5 MB. Just remember to look for those SiS options when compiling your kernel! The rule of thumb with these boards (and all boards for that matter) is to use a quality power supply and decent RAM.I can't think of a good signature so I'll you have to overclock the fsb to make use of 2400, 2700 or 3000 DDR.Can't you return the ECS motherboard under warranty and get a replacement for it?More salt than

You are saying that PC133 generates alot of hit and i know youre right. AnonymousMar 26, 2002, 9:46 AM Make sure you put the DDR ram in the right slots, 2 of the slots are for pc133 and the other 2 are for the pc2100 Run your applications, then run Performance Monitor and check whether most activity is occurring in disk queue, processor usage or swap activity. Is there any reason why you haven't installed them?
At first I had 128 PC2100 by SamSung, worked perfectly. PC133 just bites, you can tell it's at it's limit, because you can hardly overclock it. 512MB of DDR is pretty cheap now, if you wait, it'll come down even more!!! But then again, both are OEM's.
